The Anointing

Saturday morning a butterfly landed on my armchair. I was in Florida, and it was gorgeous outside, so I wasn't supprised, except that butterflies speak so deeply to my heart. They speak of destiny and transformation. I had been sitting their wondering about life and destiny, and there it was, this little winged angel gazing up at me. I was immediately reminded about a word the Lord shared with me this last summer.

For weeks, the Lord had been sending me butterflies. When I asked Him what it meant He said "Transformation – pollination – impregnation - impartation. I am transforming My children to be a people called out by My name, to be a changed people – people that pulsate with the glory and beauty of My Kingdom. No longer will my children crawl around like caterpillars with their identity rooted in this world. They – have been transformed – renewed in their minds – a people that reflect My very nature – a people that have been transformed from this realm to the Heavenly. They have become butterflies of My reflective glory – they have taken flight, and in their flight they will pollinate the world around them with My kingdom, with My glory, with My love."

While I was at work, the Holy Spirit began to sing into my spirit. The volume of the singing was load and getting loader. As I was walking towards the elevator His presence was increasing and the sound kept coming – then I stepped into the elevator and it became heavier – so much, so it almost took my breath away. Then the Lord said, "I am taking you higher – Step into my presence – I am accelerating the timetable – I am taking you up higher – enter in – choose the penthouse – the pinnacle of My palace – step in and rest in my Glory."

When I got home that night, I was sitting on my patio looking at the sun set between some tall pine trees by my house. Then suddenly, I saw the Lion of the tribe of Judah – golden and powerful – filling the sky between the trees. He was moving towards me – big, fast, and powerful. As He moved closer, I could feel His presence increase – so much so, It took me back. I thought I was going to be overwhelmed. This happened several times..., and then it stopped – and my heart cried out – more Lord – I need more of you. All that the Lord said was "Suddenly, Suddenly, Suddenly" But my heart wanted suddenly right now – and for days and days this hunger has been there – crying out - More of you....

Then on Friday night, as I sought the Lord – praying for more, suddenly I saw the throne of God. Brilliant white light was shining from the throne. In front of the throne I saw Angels standing before a massive vat filled with golden oil. They were stirring this vat with massive paddles. Then Jesus stepped out from the throne and stood before the vat. He peered into the vat until His reflection permeated the oil and His face covered the surface of the oil. Then He bent over and dipped His face into the oil. When He stood back up His entire body was enveloped with golden oil. Then it was as if He was the oil – as if He was golden liquid. He began to shake His hands and massive drops of oil began to fall from the heavens.

I was lying down and saw this massive drop falling towards me – almost in slow motion. Then I heard the Lord say, "I AM the anointing – I AM the Christos – I Am all that you need – I have poured out Myself to release My anointing upon you – I AM all you need." Then the drops kept falling and as I look at these incredible golden drops – first the drops looked as if they were falling from an inverted golden crown – from the tips – then they appeared in the shape of keys – golden keys of oil. And the Lord said My anointing is the key to unlock My presence with-in you – to unlock your destiny... and suddenly, it was as if I was looking into outer space and the heavens were filled with golden keys of oil – everywhere – like stars and planets move through the heavens. Then the Lord said – "Behold the endless possibilities of My presence. Behold the endless possibilities of My presence in you. Today is the day of destiny. Today is the day that I unlock your tomorrows – your tomorrows are today – enter into My glory and know that I am He who holds the keys of David – who holds the keys of life and of death. Unlock the treasure chest within your spirit and release upon this land my Love, My power, My glory – for I AM glorified in you.

Isaiah 61

1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion-- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. 4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. 5 Aliens will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards. 6 And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. 7 Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs. 8 "For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. 9 Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed." 10 I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. 11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

Raise up dear friends and be transformed..., mount up as on wings of a butterfly - and slide into your distiny!
